Here’s a sampling of the workshop topics: European, North American and Asian chasing techniques, steel theory and tool making, hammer design, alteration options and use, pitch making and its control. Concrete pitchbowls, tool types include forming, planishing, lining, veining, gadrooning, matting, side/set down, pearl punches, stamps, chain and pattern. Introduction to European and Asian chisel work. Cloth area inlay on steel. Control factors. All in all, an informative and in-depth exposure to the plastic world of metal chasing.

Refund Policy:
In the event that you are unable to attend the scheduled class, you will receive a refund of my deposit if and only if Center for Metal Arts is able to schedule someone else for your space.
All deposits will be fully refunded, at the sole discretion of Center for Metal Arts, in the event the course is canceled.
